Today around 11:00am I was driving home going up 35 (just before it turns into 49), and I saw an exotic bird getting chased by a small group of local birds. The bird I saw had green-ish and pink/red-ish colors, and seemed to be the size of a macaw, but very easily could’ve been a different type of bird. I also noticed the flapping motion and saw both a curved-down beak and “zygodactyl” feet (had to look that word up). I only saw the bird for a moment and I admittedly do not know my exotic birds. The feathers seemed worn/falling out.
Description in list form:
-Green and pink/red colors
-About the size of a macaw
-Downward-curved beak
-Zygodactyl feet
-Wing flapping/swooping that was definitely parrot-like
-Seen flying towards the county fairgrounds on the left side of 35 just past the VA while driving North around 11:00am on 5/6/2022.
