Sadly it was true. But it was so much more insidious. They worded their speeches in such a way. As to increase everyones and every groups personal fears. And make them feel as though the thing they blamed for all of their woes was correct. Then slowly showed them that the thing they feared or hated was caused by this. Which was caused by this and so on until they all could point a finger at the perceived evil. (Which was whatever was in the leaders way of complete power.) Then showed the people how they were fighting for them to eradicate that evil. Giving each group hope that soon thier woes would be over. The rural village type people saw the fast paced modern swing era with all of its evils gotten back under controll. Freeing them from the evil holding them back and corrupting everything. The city dwellers saw the the poor uneducated rural people becoming more educated and understanding. Freeing them from the evil holding them back and corrupting everything. The working class saw it Freeing them from the slavery that was thier life. That they would finally prosper from. Their labors. Setting them free from the evil that was holding them back and corrupting everything. The religious saw it as cleaning out the evil influences. That were corrupting everything. And so on. Until the vast majority if the people were behind them as one. For this obvious betterment of their country and finally the world. That they would be the shining example. And would lead by proper rule and control to and stop the evil. This of course. Is an over simplification of the many similar tools that the nazis and sympathizers used in a massive campaign. That inundated every aspect of the German peoples lives. To the point that you couldn't have another view. For fear of your neighbors. And the group the people depended on and gave power to. To fix everything. The nazis. And they did a wonderful job. Towns got Drs., playgrounds, swimming pools, gyms, churches, highways, cars better schools. That only taught right thinking to children. How could you be against them. You must be evil. Even the normal wrongs that come with any society and require work and change with the times. Were attributed to anything that wasn't nazi. And was an evil caused by "those guys" (mostly jews and another countries that weren't controlled by the right thinking germans. Of course in reality. It was a dumbing down. Of the people. To make them more controllable. And keep them behind the party. And hold them there with their fears. Sound familiar? Now most political parties today. Still use a lot of these tactics. Because it works on people. As they aren't capable. They can't see any other way. And they're not given any other way. And once it starts. You have to fight fire with fire right? Sadly we have one group that has litterally taken this play by play from hitler's and other demigods book. Which causes the other party to go to extremes to free themselves from the oppressors. Which causes the first group to double down. And pull out all of the stops. Even if it's wrong. As their very way of life is now threatened. Which causes the second group to fight for their lives. Because the other guys Now want to kill them and their ideas. And so on. And of course it's all smoke and mirrors for the peons. Because you can't show them what's really going on in the world behind the scenes. It would destroy everything. But like in most countries with religious police. It starts with controlling that first highly religious group. As they will take the apple if they think it will give them what they must have to be right with God. They have the most and deepest fears. Then secondly, the ones the first group have been oppressing and punishing. The easiest way to keep the people fighting each other and not the ones behind the scenes. So they retain actual controll. And their fears to a certain point real. If the liberal people come out on top. Eventually, the world will have to even out. Into three or four main groups. With the liberal groups changing law to include as many ways of life as it can. But then there will have to be hard and fast rules. To keep everyone in line to live together. And will have to rely on government and what education it provides. To keep the status quo. Which ultimately leads to a one world government. If the right comes out in top. They will just step on anything they can make the people believe is wrong. (Anything that threatens their power over the people.) And much faster. We become a police state. That doesn't have to explain itself. And can pass anything they want. And is seen by the free world as a threat. Causing other countries to fight fire with fire. Making them one government. With several heads. It's an old game. People who worship the cave vs. People who live outside and worship the sky. The stars and the moon are god's. Vs. The gods of the ground and elements. Old elemental gods vs the Roman gods. The Romans vs the jews. The jews vs the Catholics. The Catholics vs the pagans. The pagans and non Catholics vs. The Church. The Church vs the state. The people vs the church The Church vs everyone else The older style religion vs. Modern The more conservative always loose in the end to the new. All of the persecution by the older. And all of the pain and suffering it causes is for nothing. Except to pass the fight to their grandchildren. Who are even less equipped to fight. When they could have just told them to hold their line. Make their walk. And at least not cause the suffering. That would have attracted more people instead of driving them away. Even then. It's still only putting off the inevitable. The day is comming. We should be spending our time. Trying to not controll each other. As much as trying to be understanding.
