Keyboardist looking for musicians or Band

I am a keyboardist in my mid 30s. I live in the Crystal Lake area. I'm looking for other musicians or bands in the area to play or make music with. I' interested in performing original songs, but also cool with doing covers as well (especially if paying gigs are involved). I play at an intermediate level and prefer to play music in the style of alternative or classic rock from the 70s 80s 90s etc. I am not really a metal fan and I am not capable of playing classical style music if that is what you are after. But I can play in the style of funk, new wave, blues, reggae, prog, etc. I also like to write songs, and have been wanting to collaborate on songwriting with other people. I am lazy when it comes to travel/have a junk car so I'm not wanting to travel farther than 20 miles for any jam session/rehearsal/etc right now. I would make exceptions for shows of course I don't have a practice space at this time. I also do not have much equipment besides my keyboards, no amps or PA or anything like that.
