Busy heavy equipment dealer and rental center in Sun Valley is looking for a Yard Worker to join their team. Summary: This position will spend much of the day outside in the sun and can be very dirty. You will be tasked with cleaning and inspecting incoming and outgoing rental equipment as well as keeping the yard clean and organized. Responsibilities: • Unload incoming freight and rental returns. • Pressure wash incoming rental returns. • Inspect incoming rental equipment, report damage and initiate work orders. • Minor building maintenance. • Yard cleanup and organization. • Occasionally pick up parts and run errands. • Clean and maintain the shop. • Assist technicians as needed. Requirements and Qualifications: • High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus. • Clean driving record. • Forklift experience would be nice, but will train. • Experience with hand tools and pressure washer. • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds. • Must be comfortable climbing ladders, working at elevated levels. • Positive attitude and work ethic. • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team. • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management. • Bilingual - Spanish & English is a plus. Monday thru Friday – 7am to 3:30pm $15 to $17hr depending on experience.
