JANITORIAL NIGHT AREA MANAGER A large commercial provider of janitorial services is seeking a quality night area manager to add to our San Fernando Valley team. This night area manager will have responsibility for a geographic area that includes the greater San Fernando Valley area. JOB SUMMARY: The night area manager position is responsible for but is not limited to: working closely with the account manager in supervising/managing janitorial employees. This includes the oversight of day-to-day and periodic cleaning activities in assigned work areas with critical priority given to safe work practices. Basic job duties include: on-the-job safety training, direct management and control of janitorial staff, quality control inspections, timekeeping verification and oversight, janitorial scope duties, occasional floor and carpet care, inventory and budget control of supplies and uniforms. This is an evening shift position and requires flexibility as well as weekend work. REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license with a clean MVR Must possess the ability to effectively manage hourly personnel 5 years relevant cleaning and supervision experience Bilingual and fluency in both Spanish/English (read and write) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook.
