Drummer for dad band I’m 52, have been drumming for 7 years. I have lots of experience playing live with bands – with both rehearsed songs or just jamming. I’m looking for a group to play with regularly (2-4 times a month), and play out every month or two. Bars, neighborhood festivals, front yards, that sort of thing. Must be in the Decatur, N. Decatur, Druid Hills area. I enjoy classic rock, americana, folk-rock, blues, 80s pop. Stuff like The Stone, Cars, Faces, Tom Petty, Whiskytown, AC/DC, Beatles, Smithereens, Bad Company, Blondie, Drivin n Cryin, John Mellencamp, Wilco, Warren Zevon, Toadies, Bob Seger, Weezer, Decemberists, Steve Miller, REO Speedwagon, … I don’t have space for a full band to play, but I am willing to lug my gear at first. If things work out, I can leave a practice drum kit wherever we play. Thanks!
