Hey all, needing to rehome 2 year old liver spotted dalmatian, neutered,no microchip, HUA, hearing tests perfect, will be due for his yearly shots shortly. Would not qualify him as a kids dog as he can be very rough. This boy has no off button. He is crate trained, house trained and is trained to run on a treadmill. We live on a ranch, I would not qualify him as live stock safe unless someone has it in them to train him further. He doesn't get the hint when he's bugging animals if you catch my drift. He gets along with other dogs, but due to his no off button I wouldn't see him getting along well with older more layed back dogs. I would love to see him go to a home that loves to hike and is EXTREMELY active with either a stay at home job or someone who can take him with. This breed needs to be on quality food diet as they are bladder and kidney stone formers and he is a HUA so he is susceptible. He does well on science diet z/d and Purina sensitive skin and stomach ( turkey). We have not had uti or stone issues thus far. Rehoming fee of $500 applies but is negotiable to the perfect home. I want to make sure someone has the means to be able to afford the needs of a dalmatian. Sadly rehoming due to high risk pregnancy and very lengthy and difficult recovery after birth. I already can't keep up with him anymore and he's miserable because of it. Sorry no rescue groups. Please keep this post to the dog and not your opinions.
