Senior female cat

Description

My parents have a senior cat(14 years old) that my dad has always been allergic to. I was led to believe the allergies were very mild but I recently found out he's having a lot of trouble breathing from the mucous production. As we all know, breathing is very important to human health so the cat needs to find a new home. She is the stereotypical cat, as a dog person would describe. Quiet, independent, mostly aloof but can be sweet on her terms. She used to be an excellent hunter and spent a lot of time outside but now spends most of her time enjoying peace and quiet on her cat condo. She has lived with respectful dogs and does just fine but I imagine she would hate a puppy or very curious/ pushy dog. She needs a calm, quiet environment and would do best with little foot traffic and no kids unless they're controlled and respectful(mine are not which is why she would not thrive with me). She is a domestic shorthair who was found as a 10 day old kitten and bottle raised. She is spayed, with no health concerns and I believe current on vaccinations(health records can be available if you'd like). Please let me know if you are interested or know of a rescue that could help. I hate rehoming an animal, especially a senior, but I need to think of my father's health. The pictures posted are older but she looks about the same. I will update pictures when I have recent ones. Thank you for reading!
