Job Description Assembles routine to moderately complex control panels, installation of gauges and hydraulic valves. Assist with wiring panels and installation. Repair of electrical components as needed. Essential duties include: assembling routine to moderately complex control panels on road construction sweepersread and interpret electrical layout drawings and diagrams to determine appropriate panel layout and wire placementwork with equipment designer, Auto CAD tech, and foreman to ensure proper placement of componentsassist with installing and wiring controls per detailed electrical instructionsperform continuity and function tests of control panelswork with Equipment Designer to correct issues that arisemaintain paperwork (work orders, electronic records, reports, etc.) in an accurate and timely mannerinstall cylinders, motors, gauges, filters, hydraulic hoses, and various hydraulic valves onto road construction sweeper attachments and tractorsmaintain a clean work areameeting daily and weekly production goals Applicant must have professional appearance and conduct themselves well with customers, vendors, and other employees. Qualifications Applicant must have experience in electrical wiring (required). Knowledge of hydraulic systems on construction-style equipment, and experience with road construction equipment is preferred. Applicant also: must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical drawingsmust be able to prioritize multiple tasks efficientlymust fully understand and adhere to all maintenance, safety, and quality processes and proceduresmust have great attention to detailmust be able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentmust have flexibility, team orientation, and a willingness to learnmust have good communication skillsmust work well within a teammust have mechanical aptitudemust speak, write, and understand Englishmust have reliable transportation
