This offer is NOT for just any auto mechanic. I am looking for someone that has worked at a Range Rover dealer auto shop and/or has experience with older Range Rover auto repair and/or has had a great deal of experience with my particular issue. I have a 2006 Range Rover HSE that will not start due to what I believe is an electrical/ECM/programming issue (and a somewhat common issue for this vehicle): *There is fuel in the vehicle. *Engine cranks and battery is good. *Fuel pump has been replaced. It did start and run after replacement for several weeks, then it wouldn't start, then it started after sitting for a month in my garage, then the battery died over the winter, now it won't start again. It has done this intermittently for a few years. *Wiring continuity, fuses/relays are good (though I think something is drawing current while the car isn't running?!). *I bypassed the ignition switch/steering lock immobilizer years ago and it started/ran after that, so that isn't the issue. *No codes from ECU. (I am using Innova Scan Tool OBDII and may purchase Autologic tool for programming.) I have a good understanding of vehicle repair, though this is beyond me. And perhaps the following has something to do with it,. I'll pay for all parts, this offer is for labor only. All work will be done in my garage - in addition to hourly rate, I'll also pay for your time and fuel to get to my house. OK if you have a day job - repair can be scheduled at your convenience.
