Acme Graphics is actively hiring a Machine Operator/Assembly Technician to join its team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, you will operate bindery production equipment in relation to fulfilling internal inventory orders and/or customer orders. This role will include some book assembly, assembling packages of stationery, and folding and/or stapling printed material. Previous cutter experience is a plus. Job Duties: • Operate bindery equipment to fulfill shop and production orders • Track shop orders and production orders • Quality assurance review on all outgoing orders • Manually assembly materials to fulfill orders • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • 2-5 + years’ work experience in printing, print-related production, or light manufacturing preferred • Ability to multi-task and prioritize job activities to achieve maximum overall results • Previous bindery experience is a plus Acme Graphics is eager to welcome a new team member.
