Viola Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced pool service technician to join our growing Nantucket service department. Ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience opening, closing, and servicing pools and spas. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, or replace equipment preferred, but not required. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are a must. Please email your resume or experience. Responsibilities: • Run a service route. • Operate pumps, filters, and controls. • Diagnosis of a variety of equipment. Qualifications: • Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing (will train the right candidate). • Time management skills. • Ability to work well unsupervised and be a team player. • Hard working and self-motivated with a positive attitude. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong customer service skills. You will be interacting with customers and working closely with other employees so a positive attitude and good communication skills are a must. Candidates must be reliable and show up on time, have a valid driver’s license, professional demeanor, and ability to work in all types of weather. For off island candidates, work is Monday through Friday 5:30am – 7pm (includes boat travel). For on island candidates, work is Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. This is a full-time (seasonal) position with overtime. We offer health and dental insurance after 90 days of employment.
