Arbor Lakes Condominiums is currently seeking a Porter/Maintenance Helper. Must be a self-starter who can work independently. No experience necessary - we will train. This is a part-time 32 hours per week position. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Every weekend is mandatory. If you are not available to work every weekend please do not apply. Main responsibilities: • Maintain public area around the buildings. • Pick up all loose debris throughout the parking lot, property, sidewalks and landscaping beds. • All cobwebs and dirt will be removed from exterior of buildings with extra attention under the porch canopies and soffits. • Pressure Washing as needed • Empty all trash cans and cigarette receptacles on a daily basis. • Wipe down all metal/glass showing dirt daily. • Use blower to clean sidewalks of loose grass and leaves • Cleaning and sanitizing clubhouse bathrooms daily, • Emptying trash, replenishing supplies and towels as needed • Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, washing windows in clubhouse weekly • Assist maintenance supervisor as needed • Other duties as assigned This is often a physically demanding job requiring standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending and walking for long periods of time. Flexibility is a must for this position. Must be able to lift up to but not limited to 50 lbs. The ability to move heavier items with aid. Lifting and climbing ladders is required. Porter is exposed to wet or humid conditions, and external weather and temperatures at any given time. Skill Requirements: o Must have a clean background check o Must have a valid driver's license o Must have a keen eye for details o Be able to work with little to no supervision o Must be very organized and able to follow a routine that provides regular daily inspection and clean assigned areas
