KARD Shredding performs certified confidential destruction of documents, hard and solid-state drives, and other media to protect the data privacy of businesses and residents in Southeastern Wisconsin. Are you a motivated and dependable high school senior or college student? Would you like to develop life-enhancing skills and a solid knowledge base while being vigorously challenged by the mundane needs of a small business? Want a daily work-out cleaning and prepping trucks, containers, and our secure facility? KARD is where the rubber meets the road when it comes to the ins and outs of business accounting, delivery scheduling systems, and customer relationship management tools. This rare opportunity is the right challenge for you if you want to learn about starting, owning, and running a small business. Your experience at our family-owned business will enhance any four-year business or technical degree that will lead to greater consideration by future employers when you graduate. Hours are flexible from Monday through Friday, 7 AM till 3:30 PM. You must be teachable, reliable, safe, and have a positive attitude. We will train you on a variety of equipment, straight and shredding-equipped trucks, and even get you forklift-certified. You will learn about tools, maintenance schedules, and best practices relating to secure destruction services at the only facility within 65 miles of Milwaukee accredited to certifiably process any paper, non-paper, and licensed/trademarked/copyrighted products. Must pass a comprehensive background check, as well as pre-employment and tenure drug screens. Part-time work during the academic year is also possible.
