Part-time handyman/general worker wanted. I have a few apartment houses in the Capital Region and am looking for one part-time worker/handyman (flexible hours!) that lives in the Schenectady/Albany area. (Travel to Clifton Park is sometimes necessary.) Candidate must possess the following: Automobile (working!), Cell phone (with working voicemail!), Positive "make it happen" attitude! Person needs to be able to do minor repairs (including plumbing, painting, sheetrock repair, roofing, flooring, lawn mowing, landscaping, garbage removal, snow removal, etc.) Basic tools (toolbox) & some household equipment such as ladders, paint brushes, lawn mower, weed-whacker, leaf-blower, snowthrower, shovels will be necessary! Responsibilities will vary week-to-week depending on priorities. Person chosen will work under my direct supervision for the first several duties to facilitate success! Work is paid for by the hour, not by the job (no bidding necessary!) as sometimes we will be working on two or three different small projects in the same time-frame. Compensation is $15.00 to $20.00 per hour depending upon your output. This part-time position will work "best" for you if you already have a job with specific hours and need *extra* money from a second job. Person chosen will need to have a couple of WEEKDAY mornings/afternoons available per week (while occasional evening & weekend availability is necessary for urgencies/emergencies)! Person chosen must be someone who typically picks up his/her telephone "live" & always returns voicemails promptly. Person chosen must be sober, drug-free & never back out of a mutually-agreed work time.
