Description
WESTON, MA — Another day, another truck stuck under a bridge. This time, a Weston bridge was the victim after a truck was stuck underneath it on Wednesday morning.
The incident happened just before 8 a.m. under a bridge on Park Road, no injuries were reported according to WCVB news.
This rivalry between tall trucks and low bridges has been commonly referred to in Massachusetts as being "storrowed." Named after Boston's Storrow Drive, countless trucks have been wedged underneath the bridge on the road after missing the height restriction signs.
The Weston incident set the Framingham/Worcester Line trains back about 15 minutes since commuter rails running on that line have to pass a bit slower due to the hit to the bridge.
