Press release from the Town of Weston: June 11, 2020 Roadway Construction on Ash and Church Streets Weston Department of Public Works will begin roadway reconstruction on Church Street and Ash Street the week of June 15th. Work is anticipated to take three to five weeks and is weather dependent. Church Street Work is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday the 15th Work limit is from Conant Road to house no. 214 (close to North Ave.) First, the road surface will be milled Next, utility castings (catch basins, manholes, etc.) will be adjusted Next, the pavement will be installed Final, the pavement markings will be reinstalled Residents will have access to their homes Emergency vehicles will have access Expect delays Ash Street Work is tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday the 17th Work limit is from South Avenue to the reservoir, then from house no. 211 to the end First, the road surface will be milled Next, utility castings (catch basins, manholes, etc.) will be adjusted Next, the pavement will be installed Final, the pavement markings will be reinstalled Residents will have access to their homes Emergency vehicles will have access Expect delays Anticipated 2020 Roadway Season Some of the streets listed below are dependent upon the completion of water, drainage, and gas work, as well as funding Arrowhead Road - Bakers Hill Road to Bakers Hill Road - anticipate starting June October Lane - Bakers Hill Road to Conant Road - anticipate starting June Kings Grant Road - Spruce Hill Road to cul de sac Spruce Hill Road - Kings Grant Road to cul de sac Bay State Road - Spruce Hill Road to end Indian Hill Road - Kings Grant Road to end Webster Road - Church Street to Church Street Buckskin Road - Route 20 to town line Warren Avenue - Boston Post Road to Gun Club Lane Merriam Street - Silver Hill Road to Sunset Road (expect road closure and detour) Newton Street - #150 to South Avenue Spring Lane - Conant Road to end of roadway Please note: To follow the roadway program above, subscribe to receive weekly work updates from Weston's DPW Some roadway construction is not a part of the Town's capital improvement projects, such as National Grid gas main replacements. This is done to protect the investment made by taxpayers.
