Hello! I am looking for an experienced painter for my small company. My current jobs are all residential. Most jobs are all in Whatcom county, with the bulk being in Bellingham. I started this company as just myself but it has grown into something much bigger. I am hiring some people for the summer but also need at least one full time painter that has experience that I can send out to jobs without needing supervision. What I am looking for is someone that cares about the job they do- it’s important to me that the homeowners feel like the job is excellent and not just slopped on. I guarantee my work, so I need it done well the first time. Characteristics I am looking for: Reliability Takes instruction Flexibility Honest/ Trustworthy What I love about painting houses is what I hope attracts you to this job as well. I love the independence of the work, listening to podcasts or music on my headphones and transforming a space. I love the sunshine when it’s exterior work, and the reward in a job well done. I understand that people have plans and am flexible around that. I believe that our lives and the people in them are the most important thing, not your employer. So I want someone who can be reliable and show up, but also knows that I am flexible and will give them the space to do other things in their lives. Because this company is just now building it into something bigger, I can’t offer any other benefits besides an hourly wage at this moment. As I grow and figure out everything I hope to offer more.
