The Dane County Fair is a family-friendly event filled with animals, entertainment, activities, carnival rides, and fair food for all ages. The Dane County Fair (July 21-24) is a family-friendly event filled with excitement for all ages. This year's Fair features a world class carnival, free nightly concerts, animals, FMX Freestyle Motocross, Wheels of Agriculture, youth projects, food and commercial vendors, and more daily. Live music from The NATU Band on Thursday, WheelHouse on Friday, and on Saturday, Life 102.5 is hosting a concert with Micah Tyler (headliner), Austin French, and Baylor Wilson at night. Sunday will have entertainment and music all day from LaMovida. Kids will have the chance to learn about different animals in the Learning Lane and enjoy activities with ESPN. There are different admission fees depending on the age of the attendee. It is free daily admission for youth 5 years old and under, $5 daily youth admission for 6-11 years old, and $10 daily general admission for 12 years old and up. We also offer season passes for $10 - youth (6-11 years old) and $25 - general (12 years old and up). Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? You must be at least 21 years old with a valid ID to purchase alcoholic beverages, but the beer garden and all other evens are open to all ages. When are the Gates open? The Gates open at 9:00 AM each day and close for entry at 9:00 PM every night. Events run until about 11:00 PM each night. How much is parking?
