Join us to march in PrideFEST 2022!! This year, during Pride FEST, Sugar Leaf is THRILLED to actively participate in the Middletown Pride March, which will take place along all of Main Street in downtown Middletown. There is NO cost associated with participating in the march with us. We have that covered! Registering for this event is merely an RSVP to participate. We will meet on College Street in front of Sugar Leaf at 1:00P for our potluck and then we will proceed to the parade route together. The parade begins at 2:00P and will go from the North end to the South end of Main Street. FAQ's Where can I park? We will be sending additional information closer to the date of the event with detailed instructions on available parking locations in Downtown Middletown.What should I wear? Absolutely whatever you want! Just make sure you have comfortable shoes on as we will be walking in the march. Have fun! What is the Sugar Leaf potluck? Exactly what it sounds like! Bring muffins, donuts, granola bars, bags of chips, bottles of water...whatever you want to share with your fellow Pride Marchers! We're going to hang together for a bit before the parade starts!Will there be a float? We're working on it! But in the meantime, grab your flags and signs! What is Middletown Pride? Middletown Pride is a collaboration between the City of Middletown Connecticut, Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, Wesleyan University, and Russell Library. What else is going on? PrideFest is an all afternoon street fair on the South Green that combines exhibitors, entertainers, food and activities for all ages featuring our Pride March, Pride Rally, and Pride Showcase Concert.
