Press release from the Town of Weston: September 18, 2020 For residents wanting to avoid the polls on November 3rd, voting by mail is available. If you submitted an application for the State Primary and/or the Town Election and selected the Nov. 3rd Election as well, you do not need to fill out another application. To Vote By Mail All you need to do is: Complete a Vote by Mail Application (PDF) Deliver your application to the Town Clerk's office by postal mail, drop box, or email (as a pdf only to [email protected]) Vote when your ballot arrives Return your ballot in the supplied envelope by mail or drop box Applications must be received no later than October 28th by 5:00 p.m. A secure drop box is located to the left of the glass doors of Town Hall (11 Town House Road). Applications and ballots are time-stamped upon receipt. Track My Ballot Voters who have requested an Absentee or Vote by Mail ballot now have the ability to track their ballot through the Massachusetts Secretary of State's website. If you have requested a ballot be mailed to you, you may track its progress and know when it has been safely received for counting, no matter how you return your ballot. The Track My Ballot system takes the information directly from the Voter Registration Information System that is used by the Town Clerk's Office to track the ballots it issues and receives back. When an application is received, it appears as "pending" in the system, then it will indicate the date the ballot is mailed, the date it's received, and when it's accepted. If you cannot find any record of your ballot but know you applied for one, please contact the Town Clerk at 781-786-5010.
