We will be taking a drive from Albany to ADK on August 13th. We'll be starting at the Guilderland Supercharger, then a quick stop at.. Event Outline: We will be taking a drive from Albany to ADK on August 13th. We'll be starting at the Guilderland Supercharger, then a quick stop at the Queensbury Supercharger, with our final destination being the top parking lot at Prospect Mountain, just beneath the summit. There is typically a $10 fee to enter, but the entrance fee has been currently waived. You may also want to bring snack or picnic with you so that you can rest at the top and stay for a while. Details: Our initial meetup location will be at the Guilderland Supercharger located at the Crossgates Mall, attendees should plan to arrive at 9:45am as we will leave in formation around 10:00 am. From the Guilderland Supercharger we will take the ~45 minute drive on I-87 up to the Queensbury Supercharger, located in the parking lot of the Aviation Mall. Once we arrive at this charger, we will wait 15 minutes to allow for any TOCNYS members to link up with us here before we venture on to our final destination of the day. We will depart this station around 11:00 a.m. From the Queensbury Supercharger, we will head out in formation over to Prospect Mountain, the drive over is about 20 minutes. Once we arrive, we'll make sure the whole group is parked together and get a great group photo. There are areas to pull off on the 5.5 mile up the mountain, but we will hold off on that, feel free to stop on they way down on your way out.
