Gayface is an ongoing, documentary photography project exploring modern queer identity by multi-disciplinary artist Lauren Tabak. Gayface, the ongoing, traveling, documentary photo project from multi-disciplinary artist Lauren Tabak will be returning to the Bay Area and will be on exhibit during Pride Month (June 2nd - June 30th, 2022) at Friends and Family Bar located at 468 25th Street in Oakland, California. The exhibit consists of large portraits accompanied by written statements from the subjects exploring themes of sexuality, gender, visibility, and community. As part of the exhibition, Tabak will be shooting portraits from 3pm - 6pm on June 2nd. Anyone interested in participating should fill out this form.
