Renovation Technician/Handyman Needed for Immidiate Hire

Swyft Restoration and Construction Services is seeking Renovation Technician candidates to work as part of the renovations team to complete company approved renovations and new construction at the direction of the Project Manager. Multiple projects may be ongoing at any given time and assignments will be determined based on skillset and need as determined by the Project Manager. The job duties for this position may not be limited to only those outlined in this job description and management reserves the right to make modifications and changes to these duties at any time in order to meet the needs of the business. Responsibilities: Act as a dedicated resource for new construction and in-house renovations as needed. Perform carpenter/craftsman duties as requested. Maintain current knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliances to be utilized on assigned projects. Install cabinets, laminate, doors, trim, rough and finish carpentry. Install ceramic tile and do floor substrate preparation Proficient with all painting applications such as spray machines, and roller applications Complete framing/drywall, textures, and other finishes as instructed by the Project Manager. Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager and Renovation foreman and report any issues that arise. Monitor project timelines to ensure timely completion of work. Report any material shortages to the Project Manager and foreman immediately. Execute duties with OSHA safety compliance in mind. Report any unsafe acts that may be observed.
