Open House - International Day of Protest Against Shock Treatment The Church of Scientology supports Human Rights and believes that Electro-Convulsive Therapy is physically and mentally damaging, at the patient's expense. We will have on display panels and videos that show abuse, such as ECT, is rampant in the mental health field, with documented evidence. Citizens Commission on Human Rights is within the Church of Scientology but managed separately as it is a mental health watchdog and investigates and exposes human rights abuses in the mental health field. Our guest speaker is a Human Rights Attorney who has had to prosecute psychiatrists and psychologists for abuse and will give legal tips on what to do if it happens to you or a loved one.
