Fargo Marathon Finishline Volunteer Sign Up Join us at the finish line of the Fargo Marathon as we welcome and congratulate all the finishers with their medal, water, and food. There are 2 shifts and 3 different tasks. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt and lots of high fives. The first shift is 6:45-10:30 AM and the second shift is 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Finish Line Water/Runner Assistance: Hand out bottles of water to runners as they cross the finish line. Assist runners needing direction to the Medical Tent and keep runners flowing forward after they cross the finish line. Finish Line Food: Prep and bring out food as runners finish. Note: As soon as all of the runners leave the dome, we have a short window to get the tables/food set up before the first runner returns. Finish Line Medals: Hand out and place medals on runners as they finish. VOLUNTEER DETAILS:Arriving: The first race starts at 7, so if you sign up for the early shift, please make sure you give yourself plenty of time with traffic, parking, and walking into the Dome. Parking: Below is a parking map from the marathon website. Reporting for your shift: When you arrive at the Fargodome, make your way to the SE corner of the dome floor to volunteer.
