Celebrating 30 Years of the ADA
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. On July 26, 1990, this landmark legislation was signed into law by President George H.W. Bush. The ADA gives civil rights protections to individuals with disabilities and guarantees equal opportunity in public accommodations, employment, transportation, state and local government services and telecommunications.
We are happy the Mayor made July 26th ADA Awareness Day in Jacksonville!
