Loving pet dog deserves a better home

Warning: Prospective adoptees will be asked to provide references. My pet is NOT a candidate for abuse or dog fighting. I am an 80 year old single man with 2 dogs. The older will stay with me; the younger one is offered for adoption with a $35 re-homing fee. I can no longer afford to adequately manage a second dog, financially or physically. The pet offered is a lively 6 year old male mixed breed whose name is Chauncey. He is house broken and would benefit from a home with some room to run around outside, and perhaps with some kids to play with him. He is very good with other pets in a home. I hate to have to give him up, but it is in both his and my best interests to find a more appropriate home for him. I will include his harness, leash, bed and dog dish, as well as some medication prescribed for him. Enclosed are some pictures of Chauncey. He has been neutered and chipped from the Aiken County Animal Shelter. Please text me first and identify that you are inquiring about adopting Chauncey.
