This event will expose youth to collective wellbeing activities that promote healthy lives & relationships.
The Department of Mental Health's South Los Angeles Health Neighborhood and the SPA6 Youth Advisory Council of the Department of Public Health invites you to our first in person conference since the pandemic. In support and celebration of mental health awareness month, this grand event will provide youth (ages 13-21) with Collective Wellbeing activities that promote healthy lives and relationships. We will offer a number of fabulous workshops centered around mental health, financial wellness, healthy relationships, independent living, LGBTQ+, substance and alcohol use and much more. This will also be a welcome environment for foster youth, ILP Youth, youth allies, and those who support youth. The event is completely FREE...we just ask that you be open to receiving all the great information being offered by the workshop presenters. We also have a delicious lunch planned for you as well as snacks to keep you energized throughout the conference. The best part...next to the invaluable information that you during the workshops are the raffle prizes that we will give out.Any questions, please email Kisha Thompson, [email protected]
