This will be HISTORIC. Athens, Georgia will host it's FIRST-ever pride parade on June 12th, celebrating LGBTQ+ people! Athens Pride and Queer Collective is excited to announce the first annual Athens Pride Parade, to be held in Downtown Athens, Georgia on June 12th, 2022 at 1:30PM! Grab the family and meet us on Hull St, Clayton St. and College Ave for a fun-filled event featuring YOU! We are actively seeking local businesses, organizations, groups, and individuals to be entrants into the parade. Have a fabulous float idea? There's a contest! Want to spread awareness about your organization's mission? March with your volunteers! Then, meet us at Lay Park at the conclusion of the Parade for a BBQueer! Lay Park is where Pride was held years ago, before moving to Downtown.
