Press release from the Town of Shrewsbury: May 3, 2022 May 3, 2022 4:30 PM Update: Contractor, Hydra Tech, has finished unidirectional flushing for the day and is scheduled continue in Z0ne 2 on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Zone 2 includes the general area of North Quinsigamond Avenue, Main Street from Holden Street to St. John's High School, Oak Street from Maple Avenue to Route 9, and Route 9 from the Worcester line to Oak Street. Please see the attached map for more information about the location of the Zones. Additional updates will be provided at the end of each day as the flushing progresses. Hydra Tech is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, weather permitting. They begin unidirectional flushing around 8:00 a.m. and will start on the first sequence in the list below and will progress in order. It is difficult to estimate how the work will progress each day so this may be optimistic but is provided to better inform everyone in the area that may be flushed.
