WESTFORD, MA — The Westford Grey Ghosts will take on the Acton-Boxborough Colonials in the annual Thanksgiving Day football game Thursday morning. The rival teams meet up this year at 10 a.m. Thanksgiving morning in Westford. The weather is supposed to be a bit windy, but mercifully warmer than it was last year this time. Both sides have had their winning streaks, so it's anybody's game. The Colonials beat the visiting Grey Ghosts, 39-15, in the annual Thanksgiving Day matchup at Leary Field in last year in Acton. In 2017 the Colonials won 28-7. And in 2016 the Grey Ghosts beat the Colonials, 30-28. In 2015, Westford Academy beat Acton-Boxborough 33 - 10.
