BOSTON — This weekend, the Boston Police Department is hosting a dress giveaway just in time for the prom season. 'My Sister's Dress' is a non-profit organization designed to help women get affordable dresses for any occasion. This year, Boston police officers are helping with the cause, hosting an event this Saturday, May 7 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Boston Police Headquarters - 1 Schroeder Plaza, Boston. The event is first come first served, and anyone interested in attending is asked to wear light athletic wear to try on the gently used dresses.
