We are excited to welcome back Erin Schneider of Everly After Gardens for another round of Plant Sale Pop Ups! Stop into Jeanine Taylor Folk Art for a curated selection of foliage by Sanford-based plant purveyor, Everly After Gardens! This event coincides with the Sanford Historic Trust's Garden Tour (5/7) and Mother's Day (5/8). Give your nest a springtime spruce up and shop local with us! Available plant varieties include but are not limited to: ferns, bromeliads, monsteras, lilies, calatheas, vines and more. About Erin Schneider: Erin Schneider grew up on her father’s 15-acre plant nursery in located in Lake Mary, Fl. Her father owned his own plant center at the Sanford Flea Market for 45 years and Erin attributes much of her inspiration to him. Erin’s dad is an artist and retired plant designer who after being drafted in the Vietnam war found protection and refuge in the tropical landscapes that shielded him from harm. The love and respect for the natural world was passed down to Erin. She says, “My dad taught me everything I know about plants.” After the birth of her daughter, Everly, Erin decided to begin a career of her own in botanicals. Fervent ingenuity and lifelong training has allowed Erin to launch her own business and carry on her father’s legacy. Everly After Gardens is a labor of multi-generational love, paying homage to her father’s teachings and daughter’s future. As an art lover and Rollins College alumnus, majoring in Voice Studies (specifically Opera), Erin’s art appreciation knows no bounds. When she’s not watering the plants or spending time with her 5-year-old, Erin enjoys spending quiet moments outdoors and flexing her operatic skills.
