We're local and original rock/metal band in the east valley called First Draw. We're young but have an old school sound. Since the beginning, our singer has been playing guitar as well, but wants to drop guitar all together to focus on being a frontman. We don't have just one "lead" or "rhythm" guitarist so you'll ve able definitely have your share of solos, including in our current material. The trick is that we need a guitarist that can play both straight up rock as well as metal. So basically you need to be able to both shred and keep it more simple, depending on the song. We dabble in a lot of different sub genres. We currently have 9 original songs completely written and rehearsed. If you join us, you MUST be committed to this band. We don't do this for a hobby. Our influences include Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, Alter Bridge, Alice Cooper, Motorhead, Scorpions, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice In Chains, Sleep, Metallica, Faith No More, Van Halen, Dokken, Soundgarden, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Judas Priest, Nirvana, etc.
