Protecting your mental health is one of the most valuable investments as an individual, especially one that is high-achieving and driven. Mental health has become quite a buzz-worthy topic and self-care and awareness have been put on a well-deserved pedestal. When you are an entrepreneur, leader or any kind of high-achiever, it's easy to find yourself in the pattern of putting yourself second (or even third) to whatever has your focus. Your sacrifice might look like working late nights, sacrificing dinner with friends, getting in the workout you've told yourself you wouldn't miss, or even taking time to unplug and just be.
