WESTFORD, MA — Westford remains at low risk for COVID-19 spread, state health officials said Wednesday in their weekly update. The town has seen 213 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic, an increase of eight since last week's update. The two-week case count is at 14. The city's two-week positive test rate fell from 1.73 percent to 1.03 percent. The average daily incidence rate per 100,000 residents dropped significantly, falling from 6.8 to 4.32. A community will go back to green when that number fall below 4, and will be gray/unshaded if there are fewer than five overall cases.
