FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A member of the Freehold Township Independent Fire Company was arrested and charged with theft on April 29, according to Detective Sergeant Joseph Winowski. John Catenacci, 49, of Freehold, was charged with one count of theft of services and released on a summons pending a future court date, police said. An investigation revealed that Catenacci used his position as a member of the fire department for consideration in professional services that were never paid for.
