STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A construction worker died in Stafford on Wednesday afternoon, police said. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office said 23-year-old Brody Beverly died at a construction site for an Amazon facility on Centreport Parkway. Police were called to the site around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. When deputies arrived on the scene at 220 Centreport Parkway, they found a dead man in a damaged utility task vehicle, according to the police report. Investigators determined that an oversized dump truck backed over the utility vehicle, causing fatal injuries to the utility vehicle's driver. Authorities identified the victim as 23-year-old Brody Beverly from Richmond. The incident is being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration along with Stafford County detectives.
