On Thursday, May 26, 2022, Solano Community College will host "Car-Mencement 2022," a graduation vehicular parade at the Fairfield campus starting at 10:00 AM. Candidates from the Class of 2022, as well as graduates from the Class of 2021 and 2020 are invited to join this year's "Car-Mencement" celebration.
Graduates wishing to participate in Car-Mencement must register online at https://welcome.solano.edu/graduation/ and select a one hour time frame when they will be in their vehicle and circle the campus to cheering faculty and staff before receiving their diploma cover while remaining in their vehicle.
Students without transportation may participate and are asked to email [email protected] for further instructions.
"Car-mencement" will be livestreamed and may be viewed on the college's home page beginning at 10:00 AM, on May 26.
