MISSION VIEJO, CA — Mission Viejo residents interested in enjoying a day of games, activities and giveaways are encouraged to stop by the annual Water Safety Day Celebration May 21.
The City of Mission Viejo is teaming up with Stop Drowning Now to host the annual celebration, which will feature water safety vendors, poolside music, games, crafts and giveaways.
Participating residents can also be a part of a "bubble party" from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., a city news release said.
The event is free to the public, though residents are asked to register prior to attending.
The annual Water Safety Day event takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. May 21 at the Sierra Recreation and Fitness Center, 26887 Recodo Ln.
