Description
The Maintenance Associate performs maintenance to the Garden’s buildings, hardscape, and equipment, and in doing so, helps provide a safe, functional, and beautiful place for our visitors, staff, and volunteers. Working from a prioritized list of tasks managed by the Facilities Manager, Maintenance Associate tasks range from changing water and air filters on a regular schedule, to minor interior and exterior painting, to assisting with larger building renovations and upgrades.
Some general maintenance knowledge is a plus, but not required. A willingness to try new things and take direction with a good attitude is vital. This is a part-time (20-30 hours per week), non-exempt position that reports to the Facilities Manager.
Proof of COVID vaccination is required for all jobs at the Garden.
