2 Naperville Playgrounds Make Roundup Of Best Playgrounds In Suburbs

NAPERVILLE, IL — Two Naperville playgrounds recently earned spots on Kidlist's 2022 roundup of the 15 Best Playgrounds in the Western Suburbs. Wolf's Crossing Community Park and 95th Street Community Plaza were both recognized on the list, making Naperville the only suburb with two playgrounds selected. In its review, Kidlist touted Wolf's Crossing for its splash pad, zipline and climbing structure. The playground, which officially opened in May 2021, was also recognized as an outstanding park by Illinois Parks and Recreation in early 2022. Kidlist also gave nods to 95th Street Community Plaza for its "whimsically designed" "storybook theme." The plaza opened on July 4, 2020, and later debuted a splash pad and rope climbing course. Other nearby playgrounds that made Kidlist's roundup include Mastodon Island Peninsula Playground in Aurora and Discovery Playground in Lisle.
