BERKELEY, CA — A man in his 20s was fatally shot Tuesday night in Berkeley, police said. A witness at around 9:30 p.m. reported hearing a shot fired, according to the report. The shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Channing Way, the report said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
