UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Lululemon, the popular athletic apparel retailer, recently opened a new storefront at 216 Columbus Ave. (70th Street). This is the company's third location on the Upper West Side, joining outposts at West 75th and Broadway and within the Shops at Columbus Circle. The new location is typically open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. The storefront is the former home of Athleta. "Helping our collective be well in every aspect of their lives – physically, mentally, and socially – is at the core of how we create our products and experiences," reads an About section on Lululemon's website. Outside of athletic wear, it also sells lifestyle apparel, accessories, and personal care products. The retailer has more than 550 stores and 25,000 employees around the world.
