For about a month, we've seen each other at the gym a couple of times per week, and each of us has caught the other looking, usually from a distance. I finally got up the nerve to smile, and then the next time, you smiled at me. Then, I got up the nerve to wave and say hi as I walked by, but that seemed to make you uncomfortable and you left.
