Description
Tired of jammin' to YouTube in your bedroom?
Wanna join a project with the relaxed feel of a garage band that'll help hone those chops?
Here's yer chance!
Remnants (guitar, drums, female vox) of a long time Tulsa classic rock band looking to reform with some new blood. Looking for another guitar, bass, maybe male vox.
Songs we've jammed on cover the 60's to the teens. Not stuck in any one decade or genre, songs have to meet - you know - the thing (lol)
Band will have the coarseness of a garage band, polished by repeated practice, hitting the stage with the goal of rocking the audience with energy. Guitar player has a very percussive style, drummer locks in with the guitar (ikr), singer throws her heart into singing lead and her backup vox flavors the song like the tasteful application of salt and pepper.
What sets it apart is we take every song and reimage it into our style: percussive, high energy, dynamic.Think Zep doing The Monkees, Sabbath doing Steve Miller, Asleep at the Wheel on speed. Kind of like what FFDP does on covers. We don't need volume, just a good driving beat and have a great time playing for folks.
Fine print: probably be a better fit if you're 50+, dependable transportation, professional gear (wtf is that anyway?) - let's make that decent, reliable gear. No drunks or druggies, two of us are smokers (outside).
Sound like something that'll get you out of the bedroom and onto the stage? Hit us up - we're looking for 2 or 3 mates to fill out the sound and bring this to life
