Hello, I never thought i would be finding myself looking to re-home a member of my family, our beloved hedgie (Quilli B) but I would like to find her a home where she gets more attention and more handling time. I actually got her from a gal on this here craigslist back in June 2020 and so was told she was about 8 months young. She’s quite a lady and has a spunky personality - she does great with my six year old stepson and she actually plays tricks on the dog when she’s running around trying to tease her - it’s pretty cute. I am moving literally in two days and have been going back and fourth in my head for months but i really want her to have the best hedgie life possible, and I think someone who either has kids, is looking for a pet but something less needy than a dog or cat (please do your research - hedgehogs make wonderful pets but there are definitely do’s and don’ts and I will only consider rehoming to someone who does/has had hedgehog experience or someone who has done extensive reading on hedgehog ownership). She has quite a expansive living arrangement that has been totally customized and took many months to finish - This is included in the rehoming price and i would estimate in cost alone the two combined cages, wheel, and numerous accessories ran at least $600 not to mention how many hours my boyfriend and I put into making her dream home. I am asking a $175 rehoming fee which includes her and her and all her supplies. She even has a miniature display tent that was at a sporting goods store that took some special requests to obtain. in addition she has a small american girl bath tub that i actually put in our tub and give her baths in there, and additional wheel, small lawn chair, small pet carrier, the list is quite long. Please text me (I don’t answer calls from unknown numbers) day or night as i’m moving this weekend and very behind schedule so ill be up late. She’s really a sweet little prickly potato and I’d love to find a family or individual who can give her the time she deserves as with my personal life I am going through some things that don’t allow me to give her that time.
