The job entails C store and fueling equipment maintenance and certain fuel system testing at several locations. Starting range at $30 per hour + Position Purpose: The Petroleum Maintenance Repair Technician plays a vital role to the daily operation of our locations. The job entails C store and fueling equipment maintenance and certain fuel system testing at locations predominantly located in Sonoma and Mendocino counties.  While experience in the gas industry is a plus, it is not required for this position. However, general electrical and mechanical skills are.  The first 90 days of this role will be spent in training, which will include preparing for completing the DO (designated operator) and ICC International Code Council) license certificate exam.    Work truck and cell phone will be provided.  Responsibilities include but not limited to: 1. Designated Operator testing and training of station employees. 2. Supervision of hazardous waste handling by station employees. 3. Assisting PMC with fuel system testing. 4. Maintenance of fuel dispensers, TLS-350 operation, submersible pumps, air/water stations. 5. Minor station building maintenance including lighting, plumbing, carpentry, door and window maintenance, and minor touch up painting. 6. Preventative maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. 7. Coordination and supervision of outside contractors. 8. Management of parts inventory at storage facility 9. Works independently w/ minimal direction from supervisor. 10. Time management and prioritizing tasks as they occur. Physical Requirements: · Frequent to continuous walking and/or standing, 6+ hours/day · Operating motor vehicle for both long and short distances · Frequent to continuous stooping, kneel, crouch, crawl 3+ hours/day · Frequent Reaching above and below shoulder · Frequent bending and twisting · Climbing on ladders, working with heights including doing work on rooftops, working in below ground environments (example, submersible pump) · Ability to lift 50lbs Behavioral/Cognitive Requirements · Sustained concentration· Clear communication with co-workers and agency representatives · Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions
