As a Yard Attendant and Delivery Driver at Trenchman Shoring, you will assist with maintenance loading, and delivery of safety equipment on company and customer trucks. Your role will include assisting customers in loading trucks, inspecting, cleaning, painting, and refitting the rental fleet, making deliveries of equipment in a non CDL delivery truck, and overall upkeep of the rental yard. You will be required to be reliable, have a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Trenchman started in 2016 and has grown significantly over the last 6 years and continues to grow and expand. We are willing to train on the following skills but candidates with experience will be preferred. Additional duties include the following: Using forklift and/ or manual labor to load and unload equipment Ensure rental fleet is constantly maintained in good condition Assist with deliveries as needed Verify all orders for accuracy Greet and assist customers Work with other branch employees to make sure customer needs are met. Other duties assigned as needed Job Requirements: SAFETY minded – Safety is a top priority. 18 years old or older. High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record DOT medical card or willingness to obtain one Communication, Customer Service mind set, and willingness to work in a team environment Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs. Preferred Candidates will have one or more of the flowing skills or certifications Experience operating a Forklift Experience driving large non CDL vehicles such as 5 Ton flatbed or pickup truck and trailer A commercial Driver’s License or interest in obtaining a CDL Experience welding and using a cutting torch Mechanical or Construction experience Knowledge of Trench Safety and/ or the rental industry What we offer: Trenchman in a family run business - Friendly, work hard/ play hard environment, where everyone is treated like family.
